The Ford Ranger dually. Unlike the 1987 Zimmer Ford Ranger featured in August that looked like a dually but just had a wider rear tire, this Ford Ranger is actually a true dually. To start with, Ford did not make a factory dually Ranger with a pickup bed. They did however sell chassis cabs (cab without a bed) with a dually setup.

there was a early ('82-'88) series 2wd ranger on a lot last summer that had the dually kit and a 302 in it, looks cute, but silly on a shortbed. i saw a s/c once that had the dually fenders but with really wide single rear tires. diesel? wished they would offer us one in about 200 c.i.d. the 6.9 (or other V8 ) would kill the front suspention.
