Cube World's developer opens up about the voxelbased RPG's long silence PC Gamer
Finding these artifacts is the main objective in Cube World. They increase your exploration skills, such as hang gliding, climbing, swimming etc. Gear-based Progression. Progression in Cube World is gear-based. The gameloop revolves around obtaining more and more powerful items in the current questing land, until you are ready to clear its high.
Cube World on Steam
Kick is the Ranger's first skill, able to be learned by both specs (Sniper and Scout). Since Kick is one of the first skills; only one point needs to be put into Kick to be able to learn and use it. The Kick skill involves the player performing a roundhouse-esque kick and knocking back all.

Well, at almost $23 dollars I would have to say that is really quite pricey since I already supported the dev back in the old kickstarter days, and since I never thought I would ever see this game worked on again decided not to support the developer on any future product, and I never kept my kickstarter info. No point really since it's was 6 years ago, and things change.
